Krisztina Kerekes
Krisztina Kerekes was born in Romania in 1978 and lives in Austria. She studied cinematography at the Universtity of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in the class of Christian Berger and at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Since 2005 Director of Photography for documentary and fiction films at home and abroad. In 2009 she got the START-scholarship for film art from the bmu:kk and in 2014 the film-scholarship (residency in Bucharest) from the state of Styria. In addition to her work as a DoP, she repeatedly works as a writer and director in documentary film for cinema and TV.
