Marie-Thérèse studied cinematography at the Film Academy Vienna. She works in both documentary and narrative formats. Her films have received multiple awards, including the Student Academy Award Gold 2023, the Austrian Film Award for Best Short Film 2024, and a shortlist nomination for the 96th Academy Awards 2024 (“The Invisible Border”), the Hofer Critics’ Award at the International Hofer Film Festival 2024 (“Sparschwein”), a nomination for the First Steps Award (“Tuppern”), and an individual nomination for the Vorarlberg Cultural Award. She is a member of the Austrian Association of Cinematographers (AAC) and Cinematographinnen – Women* Cinematographers Network.
