Bella Halben qualifyies as a commercial photographer in Hamburg from 1977 to 1979. Followed by an employment as camera assistant from 1980 to 1982 for news coverage and documentaries. From 1983 to 1989 she works as a freelance camera assistant for commercials, documentaries and feature film. Between 1989 and 1994 she operates for several DPs, mainly in commercial films. Since 1994 Bella Halben works as freelance DP for feature film, commercials and documentaries.

Susanna Salonen was born in Finnland in 1966 and she was raised mostly in Germany. After working in lighting and camera departments for several years, she has been working as documentary camerawoman since 1996. Several films were shown on  reknown film festivals, e.g. the Berlin film festival. Besides camerawork, she also directs. Her fictional debut as a director, Patong Girl, won the prestigious „Grimme“ Award in Germany.

Susanne Schüle studied at the Babelsberg Academy of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf". As a freelance camerawoman, Schüle has been responsible for numerous documentaries for theatrical release and has been recognised for her visual work at a large number of  international festivals. For "Absolut Warhola" she received the award „Best Camera Work“ at the International Documentary Film Festival in Leipzig and the Adolf Grimme award for "pictures that are as enigmatic as they are realistic, so grotesque as loving, but also pitiless. Her camera work is characterized by an unobtrusive emotional language, which supports the intention of the film."

Julia Daschner is a freelance DoP for feature and documentary films. After studying at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM), she was a Berlinale Talent in 2010. Her first feature film Lose Your Head screened in the Berlinale Panorama. She was nominated for the German Camera Award for her second feature film SOMMERHÄUSER/the Garden. Julia Daschner is an active member in professional networks and on the board of the German Film Academy. She has also been teaching cinematography at several German film schools for many years. After some successful television films with Lars Gunnar Lotz, she worked on the documentary SEVEN WINTERS IN TEHRAN by Steffi Niederzoll, which won nearly 30 international awards (including the Bavarian Film Prize 2023). Most recently she shot Franz Müller's new feature film in Cologne. She lives in Berlin and Munich.

Julia Weingarten lives in Berlin and realises film projects all over the world. Julia Lohmann is working as a cinematographer based in Hamburg. She received her diploma at the Hamburg Media School in 2008. 2009 she participated at the Berlinale Talent Campus. In 2010 she was shooting her first feature film called THE OLD WORLD IS TURNED OFF. A couple of music videos, short films and social spots are following.
