Merle Jothe offers the protagonists a platform to show and unfold, both her sensitive, restrained camera and her binding personality play an important role. It allows people the greatest possible freedom in their work and invites them to open themselves. Working mainly with available light as well as with set light are her passion. Her favorite work area is documentary, as well as social spots/advertising and music videos. Shooting experience in Europe, North and Central America, Africa, Asia. Since 2003 freelance camera woman. Studied at the German film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). Since 2012 graduated cinematographer.
