From 1991 to 1996 Jutta Pohlmann studied Cinematography and Directing at the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest, Hungary. Since 1995 she has worked as a freelance Director of Photography on feature films, commercials, music videos, art films and image/documentary films. Her work has received several awards. Jutta Pohlmann has teached as a guest lecturer and since 2020 she is a professor for feature film cinematography at the International Filmschool (IFS) in Cologne. She lives in Berlin.
