Nathalie Wiedemann was born in Munich in 1974. After training as a camera technician at Dedo Weigert Film, she has gained further experience as a camera assistant on feature films since the mid-1990s. She has been an established director of photography in the film industry since 2001. Her cinematography in the short film "Der Atemkünstler" (The Breath Artist) earned her a nomination for the German Camera Award in 2001.
