Judith Benedikt was born in 1977 in Lienz/Austria. She studied cinematography and editing at the Universtity of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in the class of Christian Berger. Over 10 years working experience as electrician including working with the CLRS Lighting System. Since 2003 DP for documentaries and fiction features. Working experience abroad in more than 20 countries including China, North Korea, Zimbabwe, Uganda, USA, Ukraine, Japan, Thailand, Nepal, India, Indonesia, Brazil.
