Daniela Knapp, born in Austria, is currently based in Berlin. Since graduating from the Film Academy Baden Württemberg she has been working consistently with (her partner in crime), director Sven Taddicken (EMMAS GLUECK & GLEISSENDES GLUECK amongst others). Her loyalty also has resulted in an ongoing creative partnerships with Julia v. Heinz (HANNAS REISE & KATHARINA LUTHER amongst others). For KATHARINA LUTHER she received the „Bavarian Fernsehpreis for Best Cinematography“ and for her work on POLL (Dir. Chris Kraus) the prestigious „Deutscher Filmpreis for Best Cinematography“.
