Roxana Reiss (*93) is a DP from Berlin, living in Copenhagen and second address in Hamburg. She completed the BFA at the HfbK with her graduation film ‘Alturas’, which was awarded the Lola for best documentary short film in 2019 and was nominated for the German Camera Award. Followed by the cinematography study at the national filmschool of Denmark, where her graduation film ‘Eternal Father’ (D: Ömer Sami) was nominated for best cinematography in a documentary short film at Camerimage 2024 and was shortlisted for an Oscar. From the collaboration with director Hilke Rönnfeldt: ‘Fence’ won for best cinematography at the IFFF in 2022 and ‘Study of Empathy’ won for the best intl. short film in Locarno in 2023.
