Mahdiyeh Agahi, born in Iran and living in Berlin, is a cinematographer for fictional and documentary projects. She completed her BA in Tehran and her Master's degree in Cinematography at the Film University Babelsberg. During her studies and to this day, she has worked as a cinematographer on various films in Iran and Germany. Her films have been screened at festivals such as the Berlin Short Film Festival, Black Bear Film Festival, Filmfest Düsseldorf, Tehran International Film Festival, and Fantasia Film Festival. Her visual signature is characterized by emotional communication as well as light, rhythm, color, and poetic imagery.
