Lena Krenz studied Cinematography at the Film University Babelsberg. She lives and works in Berlin. In her mostly fictional and documentary projects she loves working with different materials and formats. Several of her projects have been showcased at various international festivals.The short „dead period“, shot in the US, was shortlisted for the German Short Film Award 2024. The series „Wingspan“ (2025) won the High School Student Award at Seriesmania 2025 and the portside fairytale „How Catfish Hunt“ premiered at Max Ophüls Preis Festival 2026.
