Katharina Bühler studied at the renowned Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. She completed a double degree in directing and camera. In 2011 she won the Kodak camera prize. In 2012 she was awarded with the cinematography award for THE WHITE TREASURE. Since 2011 she has been working successfully in feature films for television, cinema and serial projects for Netflix and Paramount+, among others. She won the Best Cinematography Award at the International Bosporus Film Festival with CATHEDRALS. The crime scene DAS LEBEN NACH DEM TOD was nominated by the DFFA for BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY. This was followed by a nomination for the GERMAN CINEMATOGRAPHY AWARD with the movie PLÖTZLICH SO STILL
