From 1994 to 2001, I studied Camera for Film and TV at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund. This formative period laid the foundation for my creative and technical skills in visual storytelling. I am an independent cinematographer, crafting compelling documentary films for cinema, television, and digital platforms. To date, my career has allowed me to film on location in over 30 countries. A fellow director once described me as a "Director’s Friend, "highlighting my ability to intuitively align with the director’s vision, ensuring a cohesive and dynamic narrative unfolds on screen. Since 2016, I have been splitting my time between Germany and Japan, embracing both cultures in my personal and professional life.
