Fine Gumpert grew up in the Austrian Alps. A year abroad in California sparked her passion for visual storytelling. After studying InterMedia at the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg, she specialized in cinematography at the ifs internationale filmschule köln.
She works as a cinematographer and lighting technician on film and television productions, including the Tatort episodes Blutkultur and Schmerz (WDR) as well as Stand Up For Art. Her additional credits include Friesland, Marie Brand, How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast), and Hundertdreizehn.
Her short documentary 58 Kilo was directed during her time at the ifs. Her work combines technical precision with a sensitive visual language that centers on human intimacy and vulnerability.
