Fee Strothmann, born 1988 in Göttingen, started her career in the film industry through an internship at the Studio Hamburg camera rental in 2009. Throughout the following years she gained extensive experience as a camera assistant, lighting technician and camera operator for inter-/national film productions. In 2015, she began her studies at the Filmuniversity Babelsberg. As part of her degree program she also spent almost a year as a PROMOS scholarship holder at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City. Fee Strothmann has shot several films that have received recognition and awards at international festivals such as Cannes, Max Ophüls and the DOK Leipzig Filmfestival.
