Born in 1994, Hannah Schwarzl is a cinematographer based in Graz, Austria. She‘s been working as a cinematographer and camera operator since 2014 with credits for various independent narrative short films, documentaries and commercials. In 2018 she gained internship experience at the Otto Nemenz Camera Rental house in Los Angeles and after that, in 2019, went on to study Cinematography at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg in Germany, from which she graduated in 2024. Her recent credits as a cinematographer include both short and long form documentaries and narrative short films. Her work has been shown at festivals across the world, including CPH:DOX and DokFest Munich and has celebrated a nationwide theatrical release in Germany.
Hannah enjoys working across documentary, narrative and commercial, shooting both digital and on film. She has shooting experiences across Austria, Germany, India, UK, Ukraine and USA and is available for projects worldwide.
