Christiane Buchmann received her master's degree in cinematography at the Hamburg Media School in 2012, subsequently starting her career as a freelance DoP. In 2008 she spent a semester abroad at the Film Academy (EICTV) in Cuba and graduated in 2010 at the FH Dortmund in film / TV camera. Her films were recognised at Clermont Ferrand and received the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Film Award, they were also nominated for the German Newcomer Film Award and twice at Camerimage. In 2013 Christiane participated in the Masterclass in Moscow and in 2015 at the Berlinale Talents. In 2017, Christiane worked on her feature film debut with premiere at the Hofer Filmtage. Foreign work/shoot experience: a.o. Cuba, Tanzania, USA, Oman, Russia.
