Stefanie studied at the renowned filmschool in Lodz where she graduated with a MA. During her studies she also completed an exchange year at the Filmakademie in BW. Her previous studies in philosophy and communication design have a far reaching influence on her artistic vision. In her approach to cinematography she strives for a close cooperation with the director in order to achieve a unique language for each project. Her filmography includes shorts, commercials, music videos as well as documentaries and feature films. Her films have been shown at festival around the world and have received several awards such as the Max Ophuls award for social relevance for her last feature "Club Europa".
