Andaç, born and raised in Ankara, Turkey, initially explored modern ballet, as well as communication & design, before discovering her love for visual storytelling. She pursued her career by studying cinematography at the renowned Polish Film School in Lodz. Her films were showcased at Camerimage, Achtung Berlin, and Max-Ophüls-Preis. Teaming up with director Aslı Özarslan, their debut film earned a spot at the Berlinale 2024 Generation section and won best debut feature at International Frauen Filmfest Dortmund | Köln (2024) and best regional feature film at Lichter Filmfest (2024). Now based in Berlin, Andaç is dedicated to breaking cultural boundaries with her work.
